I am writing this sitting in between two deaths...
It happens to be two funerals in my neighborhoods, one a lovely adorable grandma and the other a young little lad of early twenties. Yes he is a 'Little' lad, who has struggled to live from the day he came alive into this world because somebody has decided he should not be given the good health as many of us happily enjoy.
Grandma who said goodbye is someone I am fond of because she seemed to be lived the life in a very neutral manner. She lived the life happily and not bothering more about problems. And she was not the type who did all the religious things publicly, in her later life just to get a good life afterwards.
The death of young chap named 'Kalhara' was the most shocking thing for many. 'Kal' happened to come out of her mother's womb a little bit earlier, made him to suffer a slow growth rate from the beginning. And he had to suffer from various other illnesses including some sort of cancer. Despite all of this, he was courage enough to get an acceptable education and finally got a job thanks to vigorous effort of his parents. But finally he had to leave the world that really didn't give him a fair chance from the beginning. It is unbelievable how he has managed to keep up with all the problems throughout his life. I got to know from a cousin of him that he had a list of illnesses that even doctors cannot believe and amazed the courage he hold up. He was just started to enjoy the beauty of life. 'Kal' did not have many hopes. Not very big dreams. Getting to know the way he planned to reach his simple dreams of life gave me tears. But unlike most of us, he seemed to be well organised, thoughtful and understood about life very early to a level that I am amazed of. So that was his story. And we live.
Life,
- A test which was not our choice, but what we had to go through by ourselves.
- A test which we are unaware about the duration, and the type of questions we get.
- A test that we cannot complaint about the fair chance by looking at others.
but, one thing is certain. There will be a ring bell at the end of the test for everyone. Death will call you. May be you don't have time to check how good you have faced the questions. You have to leave the place.
It is the happiness that you share with others and the moments of cherish will remain in hearts. So the note to myself today is - be happy, be generous, cherish every moment you get in life. Nobody is going to evaluate your life test better than yourself.
P.S. - It was sad to have a post like this as my first one in this site. But after all it is the choice i was given in my life. So I am happy that I put it.
